2x7 THINGS YOU COULD DO RIGHT NOW


I think we all know that feeling. When you don't feel like doing anything at all. You just want to go back to bed. Sleep. Eat. Think. That last one is the problem on those days. The days that you don't feel like doing anything at all. Ofcourse there are lazy days, but I'm not talking about lazy days here. This is about those days that your mind and everything going on in your head is so loud that it feels like it's paralyzing you. It sounds weird, but overthinking is exhausting. Mentally, but physically too. I struggle with this a lot, and after some years of exhaustion, I've come to the conclusion that the remedy lays in nothing but the opposite of what your mind is telling you to do: activity. So if you are overthinking today, and just scrolling through your Bloglovin' feed, here's my advice: get up, and shake all those worries off! GO DO SOMETHING:


Cook a nine-course meal for your friends. Smash something important. Climb a tree and read a book. WRITE a book. Swim somewhere illegal. Make up your own fantasyworld and contact the designers of minecraft to tell them they should recreate it. Stay up all night and watch the stars (or the clouds). Dance in the rain. Walk around the city. Grow somthing from a seed. Talk to your cat. Sing. Quit your job and break a law.



Let it go.

  1. Hihi, wat een origineel artikel! Alhoewel dansen in de regen niet echt mijn dingetje is. Liever ren ik dan heel hard naar binnen en ga daar dansen ;-)
